Every project begins with a conversation. Before we begin master planning or design work, we meet with prospective clients for a focused design consultation. This meeting allows us to understand your goals, walk through the challenges and opportunities of your property, and begin sketching out early concepts—both visually and financially.

We charge a flat consultation fee of $250, which is applied toward our design fee if the project moves forward. Most clients find this meeting invaluable, whether they choose to proceed or simply gain clarity about their home's potential.

You'll leave the session with preliminary sketches, a rough budget range, and a clearer understanding of what to expect when working with an architect and contractor in the Washington, DC area. It’s the first step in shaping your vision into something real.
