Starting with a Brady Bunch '70s rambler on an amazing bluff overlooking Smith Mountain Lake, we are just starting construction on a series of additions and renovations to convert this home into a dream home to first enjoy on weekends and then retire to.

We are replacing lighting, floors, trim, fireplace stone and mantles, and the stippled ceiling. We are finishing the basement and opening up a fireplace to make it two-sided between a new home theatre and game room. An outdoor shower, new mud room (from the lake), new fire pit, new stair down to the dock, new kitchen, and new guest bedroom suites will provide for all needs of a good waterfront home.

We are re-cladding the building in stone and cedar siding and adding cedar in the overhangs to replace the painted plywood.

A new portico and front door will welcome guests.

We are adding a covered porch and a large wrap-around deck for enjoying the amazing views.
