Logan Circle Rowhouse
Washington, D.C.

Located in one of Washington, DC’s most sought-after neighborhoods, this classic rowhouse was full of charm—but in need of strategic upgrades to enhance its livability. Ballard Mensua Architecture partnered with the homeowner over multiple phases to implement a comprehensive master plan that brings modern function to every level.

The renovation focused on opening and expanding key areas within the home’s tight urban footprint, including:

  • A large eat-in kitchen with improved flow and connectivity
  • Removal of the main dividing wall to open the main living spaces
  • Addition of a rear deck with a new French door system from the kitchen
  • Renovation of bedroom suites to include expanded closet space and more functional bathrooms

Each phase was tailored to enhance daily comfort, maximize light, and improve circulation—all while preserving the architectural charm of this historic DC rowhouse.
