Fast and Furious Monaco

Location: Washington DC Metro Area

Fast and Furious Monaco is a one-of-a-kind residential project that merges European elegance with high-performance American design. Created during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and led by architect Seth Ballard, the project was designed entirely via Zoom, showcasing the power of remote collaboration and detailed site planning.

The centerpiece is a geothermal-powered, climate-controlled 12-car garage connected to the home’s existing 3-car structure by a covered breezeway. Together, they frame a private courtyard complete with a heated swimming pool, hot tub, fire pit, and open-air pavilion.

Above the garage is a lofted man cave—a relaxed space for entertaining and showcasing a collection of 1,000-horsepower supercars. Interior finishes reflect a refined French-Monégasque aesthetic, particularly in the spa-inspired bath and elegant guest suite. The garage is detailed with a Formula One–ready flair, creating an immersive motorsport atmosphere.

To achieve total energy independence, the project includes geothermal heating and cooling systems and a solar energy array, making this high-performance estate fully off the grid.
