In collaboration with Stohlman Kilner Remodeling, Ballard Mensua Architecture led the thoughtful transformation of this modestly sized home—delivering high-impact design on a limited budget. The project included a front porch renovation, new siding and trim, a small rear addition, and a full main floor remodel.
Every inch of space was carefully considered, drawing inspiration from the Not So Big House movement. Smart built-ins, multi-functional nooks, and efficient layouts maximized livability without increasing the home’s footprint more than necessary. Thanks to Stohlman’s exceptional craftsmanship, each detail—from trim to cabinetry—was executed with care and character.
The result is a warm, functional, and beautifully detailed home designed to meet the evolving needs of the homeowners for years to come.
